After seeing how a dental experience changed his brother’s life, Dr. Renas realized he wanted to create that same life-changing joy in other people’s lives. Dr. Renas and his team have dedicated their lives to helping patients feel good about their smiles and we’re ready to do the same for you.
Dr. Steven Renas grew up just outside Chicago in the suburb of Woodridge, IL, where he spent most of his childhood on the field or court playing baseball, football, basketball, soccer, and lacrosse. He’s always loved being part of a team and bringing out the best in those around him — something that still drives how he cares for his patients today.
His passion for dentistry started close to home. When his older brother received a life-changing smile makeover from their family dentist, Dr. Renas saw firsthand how powerful a confident smile can be. Watching his brother’s transformation inspired him to help others experience that same kind of change — and that’s exactly what he’s been doing ever since.
Dr. Renas earned his Bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology from the University of Iowa and went on to graduate with honors from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society — an achievement reserved for top-performing dental students.
Always eager to stay on the cutting edge of modern dentistry, Dr. Renas continues his training with advanced technology and ongoing education. His goal is simple: give every patient the best experience and results possible, no matter their dental needs.
He’s an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics, and the Texas Dental Association.
Outside the office, Dr. Renas loves traveling, working out, and spending time with family and friends. He’s also a big sports fan — so don’t be surprised if he’s cheering a little extra loud for his hometown Chicago teams!

With over 15 years of experience as a dental assistant, I truly love what I do and have a genuine passion for dentistry. I enjoy helping patients feel comfortable in the chair. My favorite part of my job is doing a smile transformation, witnessing people fall in love with their smile again.
When I’m not in the office, I’m a proud mom to my 14-year-old son, who keeps life fun and full of love. We stay active playing sports, I play softball and he plays baseball. Balancing family and a career I love is what motivates me to bring positivity and dedication to our patients every day.
I am a dedicated dental hygienist with nearly 18 years of experience, holding a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Midwestern State University (2008). Originally from Stamford, Texas, I relocated to the DFW area in 2012 and now call Azle home. I am nitrous oxide certified and committed to staying current through continuing education to provide the highest level of patient care.
Outside the office, I enjoy working out and spending quality time with my wife, Sandra, and our children. We stay busy with our kids’ youth sports and attend many sporting events, along with being active in our church. I look forward to bringing my experience, compassion, and passion for dental hygiene to your practice.
With nine years of experience as a dental assistant, I’ve developed a strong passion for patient care and the fast-paced environment of dentistry. I’m known for being adaptable, catching on quickly, and taking initiative as a self-starter. I enjoy helping patients feel at ease and making each visit as smooth and comfortable as possible.
Outside of the office, I’m a proud wife to a firefighter and a mom to my 3 boys, who are the center of everything I do. We stay busy with baseball, basketball, and making the most of our time together. That balance keeps me grounded and inspires me to bring a positive, focused energy into the office each day.
Joanna is a dedicated dental office manager with a strong foundation in both clinical and administrative operations. Her passion for dentistry began in high school, leading her to earn her Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in 2008. She later expanded her skill set by cross-training in front office management, allowing her to support a seamless patient experience. Outside of the office, Joanna values quality time with her family, including her children and granddaughter. She also enjoys the outdoors, especially mountain retreats, and brings a positive, upbeat energy to both her personal and professional life.
At Eagle Mountain Dentistry, we believe in taking a proactive approach to dentistry. During your first visit, you’ll have a comprehensive exam, cleaning, and diagnostic X-rays. If we notice any signs of periodontal disease, we’ll stop and explain how this might affect any further treatment. We don’t like surprises, and we’ll do our best to make sure you understand your care every step of the way.
